Kebetulan sekali pagi ini saya dapat email dari John Delavera sebagai salah satu member TurboMembership -nya, yang memberikan saya kesemapatan untuk join membership lain yaitu Dynamic4Marketing secara cuma-cuma alias gratis sebagai starter member. Kemudian saya pun join dan menjadi member. Terus terang sangat tergiur dengan resources yang ditawarkan bagi member berbayarnya, cuman harganya itu lho, soalnya one time payment seh jadi mungkin terasa berat.
Okelah, saya browsing saja dulu di free resources-nya…ada section download yang berisi beberapa ebook yang cukup menarik perhatian, di section articles terdapat beberapa artikel keudian ada section audio dan video. Di section video inilah saya coba untuk melihat apa yang disuguhkan. Saya tertarik untuk melihat video ttg traffic generation dari JP Schoeffel, saya kira basic sekali tapi ternyata karena basic maka mungkin terabaikan seperti dia menjelaskan secara sederhana tentang prinsip dasar dari traffic generation.
Apa seh traffic generation itu? Apa ya? Hmm sesuia pemahaman saya, traffic generation adalah usaha kita dalam mendatangkan visitor ke atau menuju website/blog yang kita buat sebagai target destinasi. Menurut JP’s, secara prinsip mungkin banyak orang salah persepsi ttg traffic generation itu sendiri. Menurutnya pula bahwa kita tidak atau bukan mencipatakan traffic ke site tujuan karena traffic itu sudah ada sebelumnya sehingga kita sebenarnya hanya memindahkan/mengalihkan traffic yang sudah ada menuju ke site yang kita maksud. Ilustrasi menurut dia lagi, misalnya kita akan bepergian dari kota A ke kota B, nah kita bukan/tidak mencipatakan jalan ke sesuai tujuan tetapi mencari jalan (sepintas mungkin) agar kita sampai ke tujuan. Jadi kuncinya adalah bagaimana kita bisa menemukan jalan pintas ke tujuan yang kita maksud.
Wah, kayaknya bakal kepanjangan neh. Udah deh ikut aja nonton video presentasinya JP’s. Join aja di starter membershipnya Dynamic4Marketing seperti saya, gratis kok…trus langsung ke section video-nya JP’s okey…Oya di Asian Brain IMC-nya Anne Ahira juga ada tutorial tentang bagaimana mendatangkan traffic ke website kita…malah cukup detail diajarkan apa-apa saja yang harus dilakukan. So, coba juga deh doanwload basic modulnya Asian Brain IMC, gratis juga kok….sip daahh..

Do You have what it Takes to Be an Internet Marketer?

So you want to be an internet marketer. Do you have any idea of what you are getting yourself into? Have you bought into the idea that you can quit your day job, work from home, be your own boss, and rake in the big bucks? If you have, that’s ok because it can be done and it is being done every day but it is not being done overnight. Being a successful internet marketer takes a lot of hard work; it takes time and it often requires more money than most people initially believe. That’s not because it’s so terribly expensive to set up shop online but because it takes time to start making money and you’ll need to have a reserve to meet your daily expenses for a while.
If you’re new to internet marketing you have a lot to learn. Take the bull by the horns and read everything you can get your hands on on the subject. You’ll save a ton of money and headaches just by learning what not to do before you make the same mistakes as those who came before you. You’ll also learn the critical elements of any successful online business.
Don’t be afraid to learn from your competition. In fact, make it a point to learn from as many of your competitors as you can. Not only will you be able to pick up some tips but you’ll gain valuable information as to what it is they don’t offer, which can be a valuable way for you to fill in the gaps.
Look for community forums to join and become a valuable member of the community. You can do this by making regular and relevant posts. If you have an area of expertise, now is the time to use it. Before long, you can become known as an expert in your field, or niche and others will learn to come to you to solve their problems.
Pick Your Passion
You have to bring more than the desire to make money to the table when you decide to become an internet marketer. Your passion, or lack of it will show through in everything you do and it is that passion that can make the difference between success and failure. Start with what you know, what you already care about and go from there. Are you an expert in anything? Do you collect things? What is it that you care about? Ask yourself these questions before you take the internet marketing plunge. Instead of falling for some late night infomercial promising you riches practically overnight by selling things that “practically sell themselves,” get involved in an area in which you already have some knowledge or experience.
There’s much more to internet marketing, of course, than one article could possibly cover. The important thing is to realize that it is a job, much like any other, with fierce demands and demanding customers. Only you can decide if it is right for you or not. Once you decide that it is, give it your all. You will be handsomely rewarded!
